The Barbican is currently hosting The World of Charles and Ray Eames, an amazing and extensive retrospective of the designers' work. From hand-drawn personal letters, photos and drawings to musical marble runs, chairs and films, the exhibition explores the huge breadth of the Eames' work, their experimentation and playful spirit of design.
It's no secret that we're huge fans of mid-century design and the multi-faceted work of Charles and Ray Eames so it was a real honour to be invited to create products to accompany the exhibition. Inspired by the playful, educational nature of the Eames' work, we created Play Cards, a set of 26 postcards, which are designed to be snapped, snipped, scribbled and sent.
