Dodo Photographic Print

Sold Out

These remarkable A3 photographic prints are from Sean Dooley's Afterlife project. Sean has worked with natural history collections around Britain to document the extinction of animal species and Afterlife portrays creatures that are losing, or have lost, their fight for survival. Because of their rarity these specimens are important sources of knowledge that can not only help us to conserve life but also act as reminders of the beauty and fragility of our animal world.

This print shows the, now extinct, Dodo.

Afterlife has been exhibited in venues including The Horniman Museum, London and Summerhall, Edinburgh.

These images are archival giclee prints on 255gsm Somerset Velvet Art paper which has a beautiful finish and soft texture. Each print is signed by Sean and will be sent in a board backed cellophane envelope.

The Afterlife book includes all the photos from the project and includes an essay by natural history curator, Paolo Viscardi. Available here.
