Make Tracks: Alison Hardcastle

Who are you?
We are a design studio and independent stationery company producing a range of stylish and playful greetings cards, paper goods and prints in the Yorkshire Wolds, UK.

What do you make?
Predominantly paper things; greetings cards, stationery, gift wrap, prints and planners. I trained as an illustrator and printmaker so I design and produce surface patterns and designs which are applied to all things paper but other avenues and products are in the pipeline. Recently I’ve collaborated with Tatty Devine, The Natural History Museum and Yorkshire Sculpture Park on greetings cards ranges.

What can you see from your studio window?
The studio is in the garden of our Yorkshire Wolds house. We're in a valley so the views out the windows and door are up the hill and of green fields, trees, cows and sheep. It's very peaceful and quiet and great for a quick walk up the hill to combat any creative block!

What are your Make Tracks?
